I spent much of 2024 interviewing people whose lives were dramatically altered 25 years ago this month, when a gunman walked into Wedgwood Baptist Church and started shooting, killing seven people, including four teenagers. Being a Fort Worth native, I feel it’s important for the next generation of locals to know this happened, even if, all this time later, we still don’t know why it happened. Fort Worth Magazine was gracious enough to publish these interviews in its September issue and my old work mate from the Star-Telegram, Richard Rodriguez, was kind enough to capture images of some of the people I talked to. You can read the story here.
