One of the great things about being a music writer: You sometimes get to talk to your childhood idols, even if it’s for just 15 minutes or so. That’s about all I got with the great K.K. Downing back in 2005 when a reunited Judas Priest came through town. But we had a great, quick convo, full of a lot of laughter. Cool guy.
