The day I lost my day job due to COVID, I came up with this story idea – a look at the people on the frontline who were keeping our city alive. But I wanted to dig a little deeper and find people whose normal, everyday gigs kept our city running. Truck drivers, nursing home owners – people who didn’t have high-profile jobs like fireman and nurses but whose responsibilities were no less important.
