Several Fort Worth businesses and individuals banded together to help those whose lives were dramatically upended by a powerful snowstorm. After our original, unrelated cover story fell through, we put this one together in a matter of hours, with many of us working without power, our homes still wrecked by the storm. Fort Worth Magazine staff writer Samantha Calimbahin and I spent hours interviewing people and photographer Crystal Wise skidded along icy streets to take some dynamite photos.
